Accelerating the Progress to Litter-Free Communities
Webinar Series
Overview
Litter — trash on our streets and in our waterways, parks and other public spaces — continues to plague many American communities.
While progress has been made, the litter challenge is changing. The consequences go far beyond the waste-strewn landscape. Litter also is a real measure of both community waste management effectiveness and the commitments of community members to each other.
As part of Keep America Beautiful’s 2021 exploration of Zero Waste Communities, this webinar series dives into the litter issue. In this series, you will learn about:
- Litter in America: facts, trends and emerging opportunities
- Policies and programs that are working to end litter
- How efforts to end litter are working not only to beautify communities but also to unify neighbors to act together to advance shared values
