Group of Residents Chose to Pick up Litter during COVID-19 Pandemic
Residents in West Vincent Township, PA made good use of their time during the COVID-19 pandemic by picking up litter in their community. The group called The Litter Lifters of West Vincent gathered supplies, did research on how to conduct successful cleanup events, and activated their community. Five events have been held since September 2020, including their most recent one on Martin Luther King Jr Day. The group’s efforts have also been recognized by their township Environmental Advisory Council.
