Keep Williamson Beautiful in Tennessee worked with local partners to celebrate the 16th Annual Little Harpeth River Cleanup and together removed more than 1,200 pounds of waste from the river. Masked volunteers tackled sections of the 10-mile stretch of the river that flows through the city and serves as the main outlet for storm water drainage. The more than 130 bags of waste collected included plastic bottles, food wrappers, scraps of metal, tires, and chairs. Read more.
