Asvini Thivakaran, a sixth-grader in Rock Round, Texas, recently published a digital book, “One Earth: The Pollution Solution.” The description writes, “In this book you can find simple ideas and activities you can do every day to help save the planet.” Asvini received the President’s Environmental Youth Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Ruthe Jackson Youth Leadership Award from Keep Texas Beautiful in 2018 for her environmental activities.
