Sazerac Company, one of the largest family-owned distilleries in the United States, partners with Keep America Beautiful as a national sponsor of the 2019 Great American Cleanup.

In partnership with Sazerac, Keep America Beautiful^® and the Keep Massachusetts Beautiful state affiliate hosted a series of cleanup events in Massachusetts in May and June. The events were held in the following locations: Cedar Woods Reservation in Framingham; Downtown Salem; and Center Hill Preserve in Plymouth.

The cleanup and green-up initiatives engaged volunteers to help promote community vitality. In total, volunteers collected more than 2,000 pounds of litter and debris and recycled more than 50 pounds of recyclables. Among the items collected were a shopping cart and a lamp in Framingham, more than 300 cigarette butts in Salem, and lots of fishing gear, including ropes and traps, in Plymouth. 

In addition to Sazerac, national sponsors of the 2019 Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup include Altria, Dow, The Glad Products Company, Niagara Bottling, Inc., and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
