You’re never to small to make a difference (or start saving for college!)—and 9-year-old Ryan Hickman is proving it in a big way.

“When I was 3, I went to the recycling center with two bags of cans,” says Ryan, who lives in San Juan Capistrano, California. “And I just loved doing it so much I wanted to keep doing it.”
