Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful (KOB) recognized a community need with the potential to help support its efforts. On April 26, 2020, KOB launched its #KOB20for20 Campaign, which continued through May 31, 2020. For every $20 (or more) donation made during the campaign, 50% went toward helping to maintain KOB through 2020 and 50% went to an essential worker group. Read more.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced every Keep America Beautiful affiliate to take a look at their program and reevaluate how they could continue to make a difference in their communities while being mindful of the safety factors that come with managing a volunteer program in the middle of a pandemic. In California, Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful (KRCB) launched Love Your Neighborhood program, which allowed families to borrow supplies, walk around their neighborhoods, and clean up.
