Jeremy Kranowitz is a passionate sustainability and environmental nonprofit executive with 30 years’ experience leading coalitions to address climate change, food loss and waste, clean air and water, and sustainable forestry. He currently serves as President and CEO of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, leading 35 staff and thousands of volunteers to create a greener and cleaner city.
Previously, he was Executive Director of Sustainable America, a nonprofit dedicated to more sustainable food and transportation fuel systems. He managed the launch of Forest Trends, an international sustainable forestry nonprofit.He co-chaired the sustainability committees for March Madness, Olympic Swimming Trials, WNBA All Star Game, and NCAA Final Four.
He earned a Masters in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Social Sciences from Johns Hopkins, and a MPA from New York University.
Jeremy spends weekends going for long walks with his wife and three children — and picking up litter along the way!
