Keep America Beautiful Announces New Executive Director of Newark Branch

NEWARK – Keep America Beautiful is pleased to announce the appointment of Sabrina Ross as the Executive Director of its Newark branch. With nearly a decade of experience as a community organizer, planner, and community engagement specialist, Ross brings a proven track record of developing successful outreach strategies and community-based initiatives aimed at revitalizing neighborhoods.

Ross’s appointment signifies a strategic move by Keep America Beautiful to strengthen its impact in Newark and surrounding areas. Her extensive background and creative approach will drive efforts to enhance open spaces and elevate the overall quality of life throughout the region.

In her new role, Ross will spearhead the ideation and implementation of initiatives that align with Keep America Beautiful’s commitment to creating and maintaining healthy and attractive environments for communities to enjoy.

Sabrina Ross brings a wealth of experience in community engagement, project management, and leadership to her new role. Her tenure at GreenLight Fund – Greater Newark was instrumental in developing targeted strategies to address community needs. Previously, as Community Engagement Manager at Unified Vailsburg Services Organization, she successfully led civic engagement and beautification projects with a large team of volunteers. In her role at the City of Newark Department of Health & Community Wellness, Sabrina exemplified dedication and compassion, coordinating support and resources for victims of violent crimes. Ross’s extensive involvement in advisory and volunteer roles further highlights her commitment to urban development and sustainability initiatives.
