Q: How long have you worked for Keep America Beautiful?
A: 10 months & counting
Q: Where are you located?
A: Birmingham, Alabama
Q: What do you do for Keep America Beautiful?
A: As the Development Manager, I spearhead fundraising initiatives, cultivate strategic partnerships, and mobilize resources to support our mission.
Q: What is the strangest piece of litter you’ve ever collected?
A: I once found a wedding dress tangled in tree branches!
Q: If you were a tree, plant, or flower, what would you be and why?
A: I’d be a sunflower – bright, resilient, and always turning toward the light. Just like a sunflower, I strive to bring warmth and positivity wherever I go, even in the toughest of situations.
Q: When you’re not doing beautiful things, what are you doing?
A: You can usually find me searching for the best eats around town, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or curling up with a good book with my cats and partner. I believe in living life to the fullest and finding beauty in every moment, whether big or small.
Q: What was the most rewarding/inspiring project you’ve worked on or been a part of?
A: Being deeply involved in the cleanup efforts following the Alabama tornadoes in 2011 stands as my most rewarding project. Witnessing the resilience of communities as we worked tirelessly to restore hope amidst devastation was a profoundly humbling and impactful experience.

A: Passionate, Determined, Grateful
