Representatives of Keep America Beautiful spoke about the importance of keeping the earth clean through litter awareness on Friday’s “First Look with Scott Cox.”

During a 30-minute radio interview, Keep America Beautiful CEO Jennifer Jehn said that individuals under 30 years old have the greatest propensity to litter. But that’s something she hopes to change.

In honor of Earth Day 2016, the organization will partner with local leaders to host a cleanup awareness effort at Bakersfield’s Yokuts Park Saturday. The event is part of a nationwide campaign called The Great American Cleanup, Jehn said.

“We’re committed to ending litter in America,” the CEO told “First Look” host Scott Cox. The interview was part of TBC Media’s daily simulcast with NEWSTALK 1180 KERN. Read more.
