KNOX’s Greater Hartford Green Team arranged flower planters to distribute around the local area.

KNOX, Inc., a Keep America Beautiful affiliate in Harford, Connecticut, invites residents to help make the city a more beautiful and vibrant place through its Greater Hartford Green Team program.

The Green Team group gathered on May 19 at the KNOX Greenhouse to plant flowers in three-foot planters that will be placed around downtown Hartford this spring. The project started in March when the team planted the seeds and seedlings. The planters are now filled with colorful annuals that will help beautify the local area.

Volunteers gather on the third Saturday of every month from March through October to work on beautification projects aimed at sprucing up sites across Hartford. Funding for the 2018 Green Team season is provided by Prudential.
