A new crowdsourcing campaign could help keep Phoenix beautiful. Keep Phoenix Beautiful, a nonprofit promoting sustainability, recycling and community beautification, launched a crowdsourcing campaign for their new community garden.
The organization hopes to raise $25,000. Lowe’s and Keep America Beautiful have committed to matching all the funds raised dollar-per-dollar up to $25,000.
“This garden is a garden that connects everybody together and so it’s really a space to be able to celebrate the community at large,” said Nicole Underwood, spokeswoman for Keep Phoenix Beautiful. “A crowdsourcing campaign allows community members to be a part of its success,” she said.
