Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) recently honored Dave Bianchi by unanimously voting to make him KTMB’s first Board Emeritus member.

Dave is a founder of KTMB, and was President of the Board in 1988. He has served on the board for several terms, on various committees, and in various officer positions. He rejoined the board in 2010 after a short hiatus and served as Board Development Chair for five years, stepping down in June 2016.

Dave has volunteered for every KTMB program. He served as Project Leader and chaired several events. He was instrumental in helping to organize KTMB’s 20th and 25th Anniversary Reunions, KTMB’s Raise the River fundraiser, and helped to lead KTMB’s efforts to create better community education programs through its Speaker’s Bureau. Dave continues to serve on KTMB’s Board Development Committee and leads all of KTMB’s new Board and Committee member orientations.

Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, which serves the Truckee Meadows area covering 94 square miles in Western Nevada around Reno, is thankful to Dave and his many years of exemplary service.
