Keep America Beautiful Honors Outstanding Community Leaders and Innovators with 2023 National Awards
Keep America Beautiful® is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2023 National Awards program, including 31 individuals and community organizations. Winners were announced during the Keep America Beautiful National Conference held in San Diego, California on February 12, 2024.
January 2024 Affiliate of the Month – Keep Gastonia Beautiful
Keep America Beautiful recognizes Keep Gastonia Beautiful (KGB) for their hard work and innovation, awarding them the January 2024 Affiliate of the Month Award. As a Bee City USA, KGB devised a clever and artistic method to emphasize and educate the community about the importance of bees.
December 2023 Affiliate of the Month – Keep Smyrna Beautiful
In December, Keep America Beautiful has chosen Keep Smyrna Beautiful as its Affiliate of the Month, acknowledging the success of its Garden and Arts Tour, which was honored with the KAB Innovation Award in 2022.
NFL and Partners Pass the Super Bowl ‘Golden Shovel’ to Score a Greener Tomorrow!
As part of an NFL Green initiative, the NFL and partners pass the symbolic ‘Golden Shovel’ to signify the shift of Super Bowl greening projects from Phoenix to Las Vegas, emphasizing the importance of environmental sustainability.

Keep America Beautiful names Keep The Rez Beautiful as its November Affiliate of the Month, acknowledging their outstanding Braille Trail project, which received the KAB Innovation Award in 2022.
October 2023 Affiliate of the Month – Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful
Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful, recognized as Keep America Beautiful’s October Affiliate of the Month. Their innovative projects, including a state website on litter, have united Rhode Island communities in the fight against litter.
