Five community groups and a national not-for-profit have joined forces to clean up 15 miles of city streets and green space stretching from Streeterville to Bronzeville.

CHICAGO, Ill. (April 26, 2021) – Volunteers from Go4th South Loop, the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents (SOAR), the River North Residents Association (RNRA), The Magnificent Mile Association, Go4th Grand Boulevard and Keep America Beautiful will join forces to clean streets and green spaces spanning fifteen geographical miles from Streeterville on the north end to Grand Boulevard to the south with parts of the Magnificent Mile, River North and the South Loop in between.

Reaching across racial and socioeconomic lines to create a unique and inclusive partnership, THE CHICAGO CROSS-COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP CHALLENGE is a friendly contest between diverse local groups who have come together to build community while reclaiming the streets and green spaces they love by removing trash one piece at a time.
